The 30th NZ Fungal Foray was held jointly with the Australasian Mycological Society (AMS) between 3-9 May, 2016. It was based in the Glenorchy Hall, Glenorchy, South Island. The Colloquium was replaced with a joint conference with the AMS, held in Queenstown and preceding the foray. This was the daily programme:
3 May — pre-conference workshops in Queenstown
4 & 5 May — joint conference with AMS in Queenstown
5 May — evening arrival at Glenorchy
6, 7, 8 May — full collection foray days
9 May — pack up and leave by 2 pm
